1. Every dumpster location on campus has a recycling dumpster with a blue lid – making it easy to recycle flattened cardboard boxes
2. Give student workers and RA’s plastic bags, bubble wrap, padded envelopes, and other soft plastics – they’ll recycle it
3. All student move-in info will be on the Tufts mobile app, including sustainable packing tips
Why it matters: Tufts has a goal to reduce our campus waste by 3% every year to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. This spring, students reduced landfill waste by 12% compared to the previous year’s move-out – let’s do the same this fall for move-in!
