Tufts’ first Bluetech Innovation Day convened industry and research experts to spotlight the “blue economy” – where technology meets marine conservation, food, energy, and sustainable development.

SeaDeep, a startup founded by Karen Panetta, dean of graduate education at the School of Engineering, and Tufts graduate students (pictured), was one featured bluetech that uses artificial intelligence to assess undersea environments.
