Tufts Joins the MassRIDES Clean Commute Challenge

On September 21, World Car-Free Day, Tuft participated in the Massachusetts Clean Commute Challenge. This is an annual event hosted by MassRIDES and MassDOT that encourages commuters to choose a green commute.

The goal of MassRIDES is to reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles on the road. On Friday, instead of driving alone, faculty and staff biked, walked, took public transit, and carpooled! During the challenge, companies and individuals (including 3 from Tufts!) won prizes for participating.
