The Office of Sustainability is located on the Tufts University Medford/Somerville campus at 503 Boston Ave, Medford, MA 02155. Our offices are in rooms 215-217 on the top floor of Bromfield Pearson, located behind the Science and Engineering Complex.

Whether you are a prospective or current student, staff or faculty member, or part of the community, we encourage you to stop by for a visit. We recommend using sustainable forms of transportation when possible.

Walking:

The Office of Sustainability is approximately a 20-minute walk from Davis Square in Somerville, MA.

Biking:

Public Transportation:

  • Davis Square Shuttle: Anyone can use this free campus shuttle with drop off locations right on the Medford/Somerville campus. View the Davis Square Shuttle schedule here.
  • MBTA Subway: Tufts/Medford stop on the Green Line is the closest subway stop to Tufts University. From there, you can walk across the intersection of Boston Ave and College Ave. View the Green Line schedule here.
  • MBTA Bus: The 80, 94, and 96 buses stop at the Tufts University campus. The closest bus stop to our office is Boston Ave at Tufts University, below Dowling Hall Garage. View the bus schedules here.

Driving:

Please visit this page for driving directions. Park in the Dowling Hall Garage or the Cousens Parking Lot, or in one of the metered spaces on Boston Avenue.

Accessibility:

Take the Dowling Hall Garage elevator from the Academic Quad to Boston Avenue, then walk down Boston Avenue and cross College Ave to get to Bromfield Pearson. Elevators and lifts are available inside of the building.
