Green Office Certification

Congratulations to the first batch of Green Offices!

All Green Offices received a a certificate (in a frame made of recycled circuit boards!) that will be displayed in their office to reflect ongoing efforts in energy reduction, waste conservation and sustainable purchasing.

About the Green Office Program

The Green Office Certification program is designed to recognize, support and promote offices that are engaging in sustainable practices. There are four levels of certification – allowing offices to be recognized for their current conservation actions, while still providing a goal to work towards:

Bronze: 60-74%
Silver: 75-84%
Gold: 85-94%
Platinum: 95-100%

Offices that reach each level will receive an official certification that can be displayed in the office to reflect the on-going efforts in energy reduction, waste conservation and sustainable purchasing.

How to get Certified

To begin the process of getting Green Office certified, a representative from each interested office or department should fill out this survey. Please note, if you don’t know the answer to a question you CAN close out of the survey and return to it later.
