LEED Certified Buildings

In line with its commitment to sustainability, Tufts has built two state-of-the-art, eco-friendly buildings, Sophia Gordon Hall, and the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine five-story vertical expansion project as well as the Level 2 renovation project .

The buildings have been designed to meet a set of stringent sustainable goals and are Tufts’ first buildings to be built to LEED standards. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System® is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
