New Student Free Cycle Space:
The Boston School of Occupational Therapy at Tufts has converted the basement of its house at 26 Winthrop Street into a space for student Free Cycling, Green News, Promotion, and Education. It also serves as a space for students to set up collection stations for charities, such as Soles for Souls and the Giving Tree. There are bulletin boards for students and members of the community to share their green activities, as well.
The room is still growing and developing, but it has been well received and well used by the incoming students. They have been able to stock up on on kitchen items and winter clothing donated by other students at the end of the last semester and by other faculty and staff at OT who are happy to recycle.
Swing by to check out the awesome changes, or to drop off/pick something up, yourself!
